Rich in a history dating back to the Middle Ages, Beaumont-le-Roger owes its name to Roger de Beaumont, faithful to William the Conqueror. The city has preserved traces of this past, especially with the remains of the Sainte-Trinité priory, which dominate the valley and testify to its historical importance. Despite the destruction suffered over the centuries, especially during the Second World War, the municipality was able to preserve its identity and charm.

Today, Beaumont-le-Roger offers a pleasant living environment, combining heritage, nature and local life. There are local shops, a market, as well as a friendly atmosphere typical of small Norman towns. Easily accessible from Paris, especially thanks to its train station connecting the capital in about an hour and a half, it is an ideal destination for a relaxing stay with family or friends.
